Eminent Press is an internet publication dedicated to movie and music critique with a focus on independent or lesser-known films and music. The goal of our reviews is to support and distinguish film and music that we believe to be culturally relevant or important. We also write features, lengthy articles that analyze, explore, or dissect a multitude of related subjects.

At Eminent Press, it is our passion to bring light to the many films and music that may go unnoticed by the public eye as well as provide a platform for critical discussion of the ever-changing cultural sphere of our world in both mainstream and underground channels, fiction or non-fiction. Pop culture is an important aspect to the identity of society, and the various mediums in which this is expressed help preserve or explain the endless ideas about human nature or the world around us.

We stress that these reviews represent our personal opinions and viewpoints of the material at hand; as such, you and others may agree or disagree with what is being written. Understand that these scores are not based upon some predetermined quantitative methods. We, instead, encourage the reader to take these reviews as a guide or complement to your own opinions.
